Hosta 'Loyalist' is a beautiful medium sized Hosta with heavy substance that will really brighten up any shady area. Lavender blooms appear in midsummer on creamy white stems. A show stopper, 'Loyalist' Hosta is long-lived, easy to care for and attractive from spring to frost. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions. Hostas grow best in moist, well-drained, highly organic soils with a pH between 5.5 and 7.5. Sandy loam is better than clay because it provides more aeration for the roots. Color:
