Dicentra should be planted in partial sun but will tolerate morning and full shade. It is heat tolerant and needs moist soil. Do not let it dry out. Dicentra will bloom from May to September and is a major attractor to butterflies. 'Luxuriant' makes excellent cut flowers, in mass with groundcovers, or in potted containers. Color:
